At the park
During my walk yesterday I noticed some things I hadn't before. It was a beautiful fall day with the sun shining and a nice breeze. While walking I noticed the following:
-2 teenage lovers leening on a tree kissing.
-an older man sleeping upright on a bench.
-a young mother soaking up some sun on another park bench with her infant close by in a carriage.
-a motorcycle police officer reading his newspaper under a tree.
-parks employees standing near their truck.
Now I know that these things are not very exciting. They aren't even really interesting. I just enjoyed seeing so many people enjoying the day with me even if we wheren't doing anything together.

DIsgusted
Things that have been said about it:
From this article on cnn.com http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/09/04/obama.schools/
Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a possible contender for the GOP's 2012 presidential nomination, said Friday the classroom is no place to show a video address from Obama. (YOU just lost MY vote)
"At a minimum it's disruptive. Number two, it's uninvited. And number three, if people would like to hear his message they can, on a voluntary basis, go to YouTube or some other source and get it. I don't think he needs to force it upon the nation's school children," he told reporters at the Minnesota State fair.
Florida GOP Chairman Jim Greer released a statement this week accusing Obama of using taxpayer money to "indoctrinate" children.
"As the father of four children, I am absolutely appalled that taxpayer dollars are being used to spread President Obama's socialist ideology," Greer said. ::insert eyeroll::
"The idea that school children across our nation will be forced to watch the president justify his plans ... is not only infuriating, but goes against beliefs of the majority of Americans, while bypassing American parents through an invasive abuse of power." (FORCED TO WATCH OUR PRESIDENT?)
You make me sick. He is our president. He is not trying to "brainwash" our children. Don't speak for me you ignorant POS. I AM the majority of Americans & I VOTE YES to this speech being viewed in schools by students!
